To ALL NATIONAL SPORTS ASSOCIATIONS and CONCERNED PERSONS

Dear Friends:

      As you may know that last month a Judge at the USA District Court for District of Maryland issued a ruling: the Court denied  defendants' ( Jerald Jordan, Donalda Ammons and John Lovett ) Motion to Strike or Dismiss plaintiff's ( Rafael Pinkhasov Pinchas ) Complaint.

      As a result, recently defendants, through their attorney Kelby Brick, have finally filed their Answer which was accompanied with their Counterclaim against plaintiff.

      Defendants' Counterclaim ( or Countersuit ) against plaintiff is based on two counts: defamation and invasion of right to privacy.

      The Counterclaim by defendants is a very welcome challenge to plaintiff, who has an appropriate plan and excellent arguments to present at a future Court trial  in order to vigorously refute any charges brought up by defendants-co-conspirators against plaintiff.

      The Court has also issued a Scheduling Order as follows:

by July 13, 2002 - both opposing parties should submit to each other Interrogatories
(that is, a series of written questions to be answered in writing under oath ) and Requests for Document Productions;

by September 10, 2002 - both opposing parties should  among other things complete the Interrogatories and Requests for Document Productions;

by October 10, 2002 - both opposing parties should file their Motions, if any, along with  any supporting papers. And by that date the Court will advise the parties if a trial is to be scheduled.
