ANOTHER TRANSLATION FROM GERMAN DEAF ONLINE NEWS MAGAZINE

New York, USA - Upon request of many persons, here is a
computerized translation from German into English of another
relevant CISS/Deaflympics-related story published in the
popular deaf online news magazine LBMAGAZIN from Germany (
www.lbmagazin.de ):
Pinchas: USA Team Must Be Disqualified!
The American athletes taking part at the 2005 Deaflympics proves
illegal ! ...said Rafael Pinchas, former CISS-Kongressmitglied.
Since the USA Deaf Sports Federation owes the CISS another
quantity money and has not paid the penalties so far, all
American athletes had to actually be disqualified. So it
stipulates the rulebook of the CISS.
Up to now the USA were never excluded by the Deaflympics
however.
Do the Americans be treated approximately preferentially?
Because with other teams, the CISS knew no mercy: four years
before would have had to almost hand over Russia on the basis of
tardier fines all medals. The penalty was paid off in the last
minute, and the medals were rescued.
Bad luck had Kazakhstan: the complete team was disqualified in

A disqualification of USA team would mean: both Basketball
teams of the ladies and men lose their gold-medals to Sweden (
for women ) as well as to Slovenia ( for men ) and in Cycling
Germany as a country inherits its 7th gold medal won at the 2005
Games. Also that silver - and bronze-medals are distributed
again.
Indeed that would mean: all American medalists that have trained
for 4 years long roughly and will lose all their already earned
medals, maybe, must pay for indirectly for the USA Deaf Sports
Federation ... it would better be to ban all US officials and
athletes in the next 3 Deaflympics.

"Die amerikanischen Sportler nehmen an den
Deaflympics illegalerweise teil!" ...sagt Rafael
Pinchas, ehemaliges CISS-Kongressmitglied. Da der
US-Gehörlosensportverband dem CISS noch eine Menge
Geld schuldet und bis jetzt die Strafen nicht
bezahlt hat, müssten eigentlich sämtliche
amerikanischen Sportler disqualifiziert werden. So
schreibt es das Regelwerk des CISS vor. Bislang
wurden aber die USA nie von den Deaflympics
ausgeschlossen.
Werden die Amerikaner etwa bevorzugt behandelt?
Denn bei anderen Teams kannte das CISS keine Gnade:
Vier Jahre zuvor hätte Russland aufgrund säumiger
Bußgeldern beinahe alle Medaillen abgeben müssen.
Die Strafe wurde in letzter Minute bezahlt, und die
Medaillen waren gerettet. Pech hatte Kasachstan: Das
komplette Team wurde in Rom disqualifiziert und von
CISS-Präsidentin Ammons wieder heimgeschickt. Und
warum werden die Amerikaner weder zur Kasse gebeten
noch disqualifiziert?
"Auge um Auge, Zahn um Zahn" - das meint
jedenfalls Pinchas. Daher startete der hartnäckige
Revoluzzer eine Unterschriftenaktion. In Melbourne
sprach er Sportler an - und gewann sogar die Stimmen
vom Schwimmer Terence Parkin (Südafrika, 12facher
Goldmedaillengewinner) und Badmintonspieler Rajeev
Bagga (Indien, fünfmal Deaflympicsteilnehmer,
jedesmal Goldmedaillengewinner)! Auch andere
erfolgreiche Deaflympicsteilnehmer setzten ihre
Unterschrift unter Pinchas' Protestschreiben.
Eine Disqualifizierung würde bedeuten: Die
Basketballmannschaften der Damen- und Herren
verlieren ihre Goldmedaillen an Schweden bzw.
Slowenien und im Radsport wird ein Deutscher das 7.
Gold für sein Land "erben". Auch die Silber- und
Bronzemedaillen werden neu verteilt. Allerdings
würde das bedeuten: Alle amerikanischen
Medaillengewinner, die 4 Jahre lang hart trainiert
haben und vielleicht ihre Auszeichnung verlieren
werden, müssen indirekt für den US-Sportverband
büßen... Besser wäre es, alle US-Offizielle für die
nächsten 3 Deaflympics zu sperren.
